So many candidates for president, so early in the campaign. I sometimes wonder if anyone is paying attention. Are you? Kaiser research arm has a non-bias reporting of all the health plans submitted by these multiple candidates. You can find those by clicking here.
A recent study conducted by one of the television networks (though I cannot remember which now) stated that healthcare comes right after the war in Iraq as a national concern. If that’s true, why isn’t the public, particularly the over 60 crowd, being more vocal?

Monday morning is not just for would be football quarterbacks analyzing the previous days games. No, Monday morning has been known for years as the most common time for heart attacks to occur. Why?
There are many inconclusive reasons surrounding this phenomenum. Mostly they have to do with the mind body connection. The ingredients for this occurence include a prior week filled with stress and tension which is added to the years of fat build up in the body, high cholesterol that has yet to be managed, and the breaking off of some plaque which is filled in with what becomes a clot that stops the normal blood flow to a region of the heart. When this occurs, there is chest pain and if not treated promptly, a full blown heart attack with heart muscle damage occurs.

I have been off on vacation. A great time. I went no where. I cleaned and rearranged things at home, getting rid of all those items I could not live without but of course, can. I saw friends, babysat my 7 month old grand-daughter and still continued to assist my 93 year old Mom stay independent and live in her apartment home.
