While there are several polls on the importance of healthcare and the presidential race, there are few polls of the over 65 population that I can find as it relates to the presidential race. There is a side by side comparison of healthcare positions and the candidates without much emphasis if any on Medicare. Does anyone realize how large the numbers for the 65 plus population are? Do the candidates think this population no longer cares or votes? According to the US Dept of Aging, the population of 65+ in 2004 numbered over 36 million (quite a number to have behind me if I were running for president).
