Just the facts: Economy Vs Presidential Campaign

Obama called McCain to talk about how they can work with their colleagues to end the stalemate on the buyout. McCain called Obama back and said let’s postpone the debate till the next Thursday (the day of the VP debate). Obama did no press on this. McCain did making everyone believe it was his idea and he really ran with it, taking it to a whole new level.

McCain cancels appearance on letterman cause he is rushing back to DC to fix the bailout. Letterman has his show and finds out, McCain is 5 blocks away doing an interview with Katie Couric.

President Bush invtes both candidate to come to white house with congressional leaders of both parties to finalize the bailout proposal. He, Bush, never checks with Congres who has its own bi-partisan group that have made great strides in creating a bailout that is reflective of both sides, and the ultimate payor of the bailout, the people.

McCain finds time to appear at Clinton’s Global Initiative (in person) this morning. Obama appears via satellite.

Sarah Palin has not turned in her finanicals (all other candidates have). She gets an extension till after the VP debate next Thursday unless its delayed for some unexplained reason.

Question: What is truth and reality?

Do you think these candidates for the US president should be able to handle crisis? Should they be able to handle more than 1 thing a time? Should they be knowledgeable about the information that leads to what is going on in the US, in its governement?

In order to vote, shouldn’t you do research to know which candidate is real and which is a pure politician?

I challenge you to answer these questions carefully. Find the facts. Then decide who is the real candidate for US President.

I think they all stink in this especially the president. I wonder if he set this up so his crony peterson could take control and get things done the bush way in a lame duck administration.
