I got at my poll at 6:30 AM. There were over 100 people in front of me. Once the poll opened, it moved quickly and efficiently. I was impressed. When I left, there were over 200-300 people in line. I then went to Starbucks for my free post vote coffee. Is this a great country or what?
Here’s a video at my polling place this morning. Did you vote? How was the actual process for you? By the way, stop by our election08 blog and predict the outcome of today’s election. You must post before 7 PM EST today, November 4.

Yes I just did! I went at 10 and missed the pre-work/opening crowds and beat the lunch hour crowds. My polling place is a mere block away so it was a nice little walk on an ‘unseasonably warm’ day.
I voted at 8 a.m., but did not go to Starbucks for my free post-vote coffee.
There were about 80 people in line at my polling place (a high school in Catonsville, MD).
This is, indeed, a great country.
