Gone golfing
I can’t stress enough how many great people I keep meeting who live at Erickson communities like Charlestown. They introduce me to things some people may take for granted but that I have never experienced–golfing, for example.
In all honesty, I always thought golf was a pretty boring sport. But, wow, was I wrong! Two men from Charlestown’s golf club met me at my office one morning so I could follow them to nearby Forest Park Golf Club in Baltimore, Md. Their group plays there every other Monday morning from April to October, and I was tagging along to take some photographs.
The fresh air, rolling green hills, and shady wooded areas were a welcome escape from my office. Several foursomes teed off while I snapped their photographs. They all welcomed the camera but were eager to continue down the course. I thought, “I would be, too, had I known what a pleasent outing this would be.”
I took some fun photos of the Charlestown golfers, but they didn’t all fit in the print version of The Erickson Tribune. Take a look here:
