‘Cooking for One’ in today’s Washington Post
The Washington Post printed a delicious article in its Food section today on cooking for one–
“The ‘Whatever’ Approach Is What I Do Best,” by Erin Zimmer. Sign up for a free online subscription to the Post and give it a glance.

Zimmer writes about “winging it” when it comes to measurements, ingredients, and especially the use of leftovers–something us single cooks have either mastered with pride or need to learn. She provides some helpful ingredient substitutions and recipe adaptations. And the online version includes recipes for Zimmer’s “Hardly a Cobb” salad and “Chicken Marsala Wearing a Jacket.”
Check it out; you may get an idea for dinner tonight! And don’t forget, cooking for one tips are great for couples, too.
