Well, who doesn’t love this time of year? Everything about it brings me that warm and fuzzy feeling. Home-cooked meals, holiday parties, and family time. This year, I finally have a space of my own that I am proud of. My dining room table is fully equipped to handle a dinner party, so that is exactly my plan. I enjoy having small gatherings, so I will be hosting several dinner parties this season. I’ve prepared my table with a beautiful setting for my guests and me to enjoy.

This is a budget-friendly combination of things that I already had, along with some new purchases. I thought the shelled nuts would be a nice touch to add to my centerpiece so that my guests could nibble on them in between courses. The flowers can be switched out for when I have my Christmas parties, but for Thanksgiving, I’ve combined some deep red and orange carnations. Carnations are very affordable, and they can last for up to two weeks! To make the arrangement easier to display, bunch them up with a rubber band and cut off the ends evenly. These can also be given out as party favors at the end of the evening for your guests to take home. I also added some decorative stones to the bottom of the flower vases. Details like these make the arrangement look a lot more elegant.

It was a bit too early to break out the holiday dinnerware, so I used my regular set and added a festive cloth napkin to top it off.
