Clinton set to resign as presidential candidate
Clinton set to concede delegate race to Obama
From the AP wire, according to Frederick News Post (read entire article here )
WASHINGTON (AP) — Hillary Rodham Clinton will concede Tuesday night that Barack Obama has the delegates to secure the Democratic nomination, campaign officials said, effectively ending her bid to be the nation’s first female president. The article continues: She will pledge to continue to speak out on issues like health care. But for all intents and purposes, the two senior officials said, the campaign is over.
I hope she does enforce her health plan. It is the only one that will ensure all human beings will have the quality health care each of us deserves; one that is not influenced by drug manufacturers and bureaucracy. She is a strong woman, a fearless leader, and was the brunt of many gender biased media as well as others.
Whatever you think of any candidate, I believe it is important to recognize the value each brings and not be derogatory to any one. Our country is suffering from a chronic disease. Through information, prevention, and a focus on health and living well, improving the economy and bringing all of us together to a common goal to improve all lives, we can succeed and achieve a cure. I have been disillusioned by the tone of many comments on political blogs which have spoken bitterly and with bias about each candidate. So sad. We have so much growing to do.
