DNC releases Platform for President; Healthcare focus
You can view the entire document here! For me, the best part was the emphasis on health care: cost, coverage and quality. The document states: “We believe that covering all is not just a moral imperative, but is necessary to making our health system workable and affordable”. And may I say, Amen.
There are dsicussions of the need for basic health coverage for all citizens; an emphasis on technology, quailty, and what is needed to make it work. This is all good but remember, it’s only the platform. It still needs a strong president and bi-partisan support.
The lesson here for all of us is that we must be vigilant and support those initiatives in which we believe. That means constantly keeping in touch with Congressional representatives and letting them hear YOUR voice. This is a participatory government. If we do not do our part, we all fail.

Hope you all enjoy the long lines while waiting for medical care. Forget about putting Grandma and Grandpa on life support systems (too expense).
Answer me this, why do Candaiens come here for medical treatment?

Canadians come here because they don’t have enough doctors. That’s what will happen here if we don’t give scholarships to make medical school more affordable. Terrible reference to the elderly in your post marty, but where is the rnc platform on healthcare? I can’t find it anywhere
